Android M 6.0 Marshmallow Early Release Reveals Something Special for Shrug Fans

Webmaster Shrug

The new version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow is rolling out. Some early releases of Android M have a secret guest appearance of none other than the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ shrug emoticon! Is Android M supposed to stand for Marshmallow or secretly...Meh?

This quick video clip shows how to make the Shruggie appear...

Evidentaly this feature is just a placeholder until the new official Easter Egg takes it's place. So consider it a Shruggie Easter Egg on Android for a limited time only.

How to find an Easter Egg in a device running Android:
To get to the Easter egg with your version of Android, it's just for M, navigate to the Settings screen and tap 'About device' near the bottom of the list. Locate the line that says 'Android Version' and tap on it quickly several times. This will bring up a short animation of the letter that represents your version of Android. In my case I get a capital K for Kit-Kat. Now long press for to see the Easter egg!
